There was something really beautiful i saw... i think by croovman... acrylic paints on a wooden board. Very clever guy, in my opinion.

Yes, i feel it's important to master different sections of art - or, if not master, dabble in a meaningful way, perhaps.

I'm not great with watercolor myself, my work is actually regular lead and colored pencil. I'm trying my hand at oil painting, just doing basics now, but am excited to start integrating my characters into it.

Ah - i'm still learning to watercolour, a slow and painful process for me. The keyboard is far more my tool, but i hate being so restricted by modern forms.

Thank you so much for the compliment! I've done a lot of work on this series and have really developed the characters to a point that I am very pleased with. Even if you look at the first one in the series (Rubber Ducky) and compare it to the most recent (Björk) you can tell a difference.

But, this is only step one! I wanted to create these characters and give them some existance, then paint them onto canvas. I'm working on my oil painting skills right now, so it should be interesting. :)
